Week 42 drawings.

 I'm currently on week 43 and yesterday filled my third sketch book. I never imagined when I started this that I would have kept it up for this long.

RAK

 Since I had been sewing like crazy and had accumulated quite a few things, I decided that I would do a random act of kindness kind of thing. I made some cards explaining what it was and put it with some of my handmade items.

Down the street from me, in the library parking lot, there is what we call the blessing box. People can drop off non perishable food items or other items such as cleaning supplies etc. Anyone is free to drop by the box and take whatever they may need.

The day I stopped the blessing box was pretty empty.

I left my offering on one of the shelves. While it's not going to help someone looking for something to eat, I thought something pretty might just put a smile on someone's face.

I haven't gone back to see if anyone picked it up or not but it doesn't matter. I'm sure someone will.

April fools

 Welcome to April. My but the time flies. I am not going to play any jokes on anyone today. It's just going to be an ordinary every day kind of post. I hope you get through the day without anyone playing any jokes on you.

When I went to the mall to treat myself I only made three purchases. One was for body spray at Bath and Body Works. It was on sale for $5.99. I purchased a scent called All eyes on her.

At Boscov's I purchased a pair of black pants that were on sale for $19.99.

My final purchase was a pair of shoes that I bought at The Shoe Department.  I wasn't looking for shoes but wandered in the store and started looking around. I have plenty of sneakers but no casual shoes that are a little dressier. I found a really comfortable pair and the box said that they were podiatrist approved. Regular price $47.99 on sale for $24.98

Let me just say these shoes are so incredibly comfortable. 

More from my birthday

 I got a beautiful bouquet delivered to the house. They were from Presley

I actually took a ton of pictures of the different flowers but I'm only going to post this one.

The day after my birthday, Amanda and I went out to lunch and to Hobby Lobby and the mall.

Lunch was at Cracker Barrel and was really good. I had chicken fried chicken and hash brown casserole.

Would you believe we didn't buy anything in any of the stores we went in. We even walked out of Hobby Lobby with nothing. I did take a couple pictures of things for possible craft ideas.

My final celebration was lunch out with an old friend on Tuesday March 25th. We went to Hanako in Conneaut Ohio

This was the first time I have ever been to a Japanese restaurant and the food was fantastic. I ordered Hibachi chicken and shrimp. It came with rice and onion soup. 

And that concludes the month and my birthday celebration.
